Gearing up for the ride
Despite some occasionally crummy weather, I'm getting my miles in, in preparation for my June 1 departure. By the way, everyone is invited to join me on the initial 30 miles from Sandpoint to Newport, Washington as part of Bike to Work week in Sandpoint, Idaho. We leave Sandpoint at 8 a.m. from the Power House parking lot. Hope to see you there!

Mel, we will be following your ride with the highest of expectations (expecting of course for you to be dipping your toes into the ocean at Key West in due course). Good luck.
